Oops, did I forget to mention about my 1st experience in the kitchen, all alone, to whip up a dish? heex..
I went to ah yi's house on xmas, supposed to make a cheesecake with huahua de, cause the one I tried to make at home is not very nice, though it's still edible..the cheese portion was too hard le..heex..anw, cheesecake making session was postponed cause huahua couldn't get some of the ingredients..so we ended up making cookies and pasta instead..huahua took care of the cookies while I took care of the pasta..it was quite a mistake because I don't know how to start a stove/fire and quite 手忙脚乱 because there are so many things to take care of..gotta boil the penne, wash the veggie, cut the sausage and fishballs, rinse the penne with cold water, cook the sauce, blah blah blah..huahua and ah yi helped me out, else their kitchen will be turned upside down by me..heex..come to think of it, cooking is quite fun actually..minus the clearing ups and washings..heex..
anw, the end product was not bad, at least that was what I thought..色香味俱全,看了就想吃..even mummy who seldom eat pasta de cannot resist it and thinks it's very nice..heex..oh ya, I've learnt a lesson today also..that is, to make your pasta softer, you gotta rinse it with cold water after boiling it..isn't it amazing?!

Mummy's friend gave her two complimentary tickets to Fish Leong's Today is Our Valentine's Day concert so I went to catch it with Ting on Saturday and it was superb. Fish is really a very good singer, you will have goosebumps all over you when you listen to her 'live' performance. It was very touching also, very 感动, especially at the part when they played clips of people expressing their 爱的告白 to their loved ones.
She sang many many nice songs and in the end, the concert lasted for 3 hours. Even the encore was quite long. The guest for the concert was Mayday's Ah Xin and I thought he will sing like 2-3 songs but in the end, he sang only 1 and a half song, the half song being the one sang together with fish. He's also a very good and powerful singer, making me feel very gek again not being able to catch their concert in Singapore the previous time. On the whole it was a very good concert, whether in terms of visual and/or audio.

lao gong has come to visit me!!! wahahah..so i've been busy catching up with him these few days..heex..to keep our relationship low profile, i've decided to disguise myself as a fan with huahua to go catch him at j8 and ms..wah, sooooooooooo many people lor..the autograph session was supposed to start at 7pm but we heard people have already started queueing the day before..really pei fu them..huahua and i went to queue at 3plus after our lunch and shopping and we ended up very behind, cannot see my lao gong perform onstage lor..so sad..when it was our turn to get his autograph, it was already like 10plus, so super squeezy and niam niam..although we always get to meet up privately, im still very happy to get up so close to him and shake his hand again..heex..
besides catching up with lao gong, my pocket has burnt a very big hole these few days also..heex..simply cannot control, too many sales le! heex..ended up buying so many things..but i think they are necessities lah..heex..haven really go shop for cny clothings, although the main purpose of the shopping trips are supposed to be so..heex..decided to be a good gal and stay at home for the next few days..heex..
im happy because i've got u! =)

papa was supposed to go his cousin's wedding lunch with mummy today and brother and I decided to go shopping at marina square while waiting for parents to finish their lunch at the hotel..i was quite excited because haven been to ms for quite some time and was looking forward to a fruitful shopping trip..heex..but papa called me not long after we parted and asked us to go lunch with them since there were still vacant seats..so brother and i decided to go, save us a meal..heex..hmmm the lunch was quite okie lah, but the wedding flow was quite different from those that i've attended..yup..but anw, did shop for a while after the lunch with family and aunts because all those sales and discounts tags were really very tempting, i simply couldn't resist them..heex..it turned out to be frutiful after all..heex..
we went cwp after that and i met 2 ex-classmates..they haven really change, wanted to say hello to them but scared they cannot recognise me cuz of my dressings and make-ups so decided not to, else will be so super paiseh lor..heex..
looking forward to next week because

finally got to shop with cuzzies today..finally can fang4 si4 and shop as much as i want..gals are really weird..when they shop and "clinched a deal", they will feel very happy cuz they've found and bought something that they like, at least at that very moment..but at the end of the shopping spree when they do a calculation, they will then realise that they've spent alot of money and start to feel that they got to live on bread and water for the next few days or maybe weeks..apparently, for the sake of beautiful clothings, shoes, bags, accessories etc, they are willing to do so..so females are actually quite impulsive mammals huh..heex..
anyway, went for a haircut at bugis too with cuzzies..initially only qt want to cut lah but xiaxia and i were tempted so we decided to cut also since wash+blow+cut+style only $16..i like the hair-stylist too, she's very nice..heex..had some brief chats with her and i realised being a hair-stylist is such a tough job..basically every job is tough bah, just that people who are not in that arena don't get to see and understand the ugly and dark side of it..
happy happy because it was a fruitful trip, minus the heartaches =)
