Tao suan was a failure, too nuan. But cuzzie said mine's better than her mum's. I appreciate her console. And apparently Da Jiu likes my tuan suan too. Now I can finally understand and feel his love for tuan suan.
Oneh oneh was next. Finally, a SUCCESS! Heex..It was really nice. As nice as Xiao Gu's. Our neighbour even said that Mummy and I could set up a stall to sell these. Heex..Super happy.
Now I can understand why chefs always say that the biggest achievement they get from the profession is when people like their food and are full of praises from them. The smiles and the look of enjoyment on the faces of the patrons are enough to make up for the hard work and efforts that the chefs have put in.
I still have a very very long way to go but I'll work hard de! Heex..Next on my list is Oni, a kind of yam paste dessert. Wish me success bah! =)
