It has been almost a week since Chinese New Year started. So fast! This year's Chinese New Year is quite different - Ah Ma's not around le and Gong Gong is no longer the always-laughing-and-talking-loudly man anymore. I miss the old days..

Alright, sad/bad things aside, since CNY is supposed to be a season of reunion and joy. Heex..Although we went to fewer relatives'/friends' houses this year, the four days were not that boring because we've lined up other programs for ourselves. Heex..


CNY Eve

As usual, we went to grandparents' house for reunion dinner and surprisingly, bro and I did not have to help lay out the cny goodies and change new sheets for the chairs. So basically, my job that day was to exercise my mouth. Heex..Shared a steamboat with lil cuzzies and their father and also parents and bro. I like the re nao and cosy feel, we helping one another to cook this and that and cracking jokes here and there. Learnt something new from lil cuzzie also, 原来 "lung 话" = "废(肺)话". Really take my hat off him. Haha..

CNY Day 1

We went temple with ah yi n cuzzies before heading to grandparents' house. Took many many photos and celebrated Popo's 70th 大寿 at their house also. We went AMK to offer joss sticks to maternal grandparents and we didn't stay long there since the house was like quite empty, no chairs for us to sit on even. Headed to Loyang Da Bo Gong where we each got a coin from this God of Fortune. Heex..To River HongBao next! I really felt as though we've landed ourselves in China lor. Anyway, fireworks at night was brilliant, different from past years. It would have been even better if not for some sucky people. But anw, Papa and bro have already took revenge for me le. Heex..
